Established in 1986 by Mohamed Elsoufy Ramadan, Intertrade remains a family-owned business, now managed by Khaled Elsoufy, the current CEO. Intertrade is the largest producer of PVC gaskets in Egypt with a thriving export market in Europe and throughout the Middle East. Intertrade’s excellent reputation for customer service and quality has been recognized through the attainment of ISO 9002 certification.
Located at 10th of Ramadan City, Cairo, Egypt, Intertrade’s innovative manufacturing plant spans 20,000 m2 and produces 10,000 gaskets per day, with the capacity to produce up to 20,000 gaskets per day.
From raw material to finished product, Intertrade implements continuous quality control. At every stage of manufacture, great care is taken to ensure that the prescribed standards are met. Our technicians monitor the mechanical strength of raw materials and finished products. This includes ensuring that the customer’s specifications and Intertrade’s technical terms of delivery are observed.
Our well-equipped laboratory enables us to perform a variety of tests, both destructive and non-destructive, to ensure that the raw materials and finished products meet our quality standards and specifications. To ensure strict adherence to these policies, Intertrade has undergone ISO 9002 Certification for its products and was amongst the first to achieve it.
Intertrade’s gaskets meet all quality standards and specifications for dimensions, durability, and performance, as well as physical tests for food taste and odor. Cross-sectional tolerances are closely inspected and monitored during the extrusion process.
