Description
The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our product quality standards. This position involves implementing inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure product quality, preparing detailed reports, and training production line staff in quality assessment practices. This role will be key in maintaining Intertrade’s status as the supplier of choice in our industry.
Location: 10th of Ramadan City, Cairo, Egypt
Responsibilities:
1. Implement and maintain quality inspection, testing, and evaluation methods across production lines.
2. Ensure all products meet company and industry quality standards.
3. Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
4. Manage deadlines for product delivery, ensuring timely completion of quality tasks.
5. Train and oversee production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.
6. Track products through the manufacturing process to guarantee all processes are executed correctly.
7. Conduct thorough and recorded inspections of final products, ensuring compliance with industry and
company standards.
8. Identify and eliminate products that do not meet quality standards, and investigate root causes of
product problems.
9. Set quality goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
10. Implement and maintain ISO quality standards across the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in ISO standards and their application in a manufacturing environment.
4. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
5. Proficient in MS Office and adept at creating detailed reports.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
1. Advanced degree in a related field.
2. Experience in the PVC gasket for refrigerators, magnetic strips, or PVC compound manufacturing industry.
3. Lives in the 10th of Ramadan City, Sharkia.
